USA Gymnastics National Championships are this weekend

Don’t forget to watch the best gymnasts in the USA compete for a national title at the P&G National CHampionships

6808PITTSBURGH, Pa., Aug. 19, 2014 – The 2014 P&G Gymnastics Championships, scheduled for Aug. 21-24 in Pittsburgh, Pa., at CONSOL Energy Center, will feature defending champions Sam Mikulak of Corona del Mar, Calif./Team Hilton HHonors (University of Michigan), and Simone Biles of Spring, Texas/World Champions Centre, looking for repeat titles. Fans who cannot make it to Hartford can enjoy coverage online, on television and on their favorite social media networks, as well as find event information at PGChamps.com.

Here’s how to follow the action this week.

Television, webcast and YouTube coverage

  • Live podium training coverage. There will be a live web stream of both junior (9-11:30 a.m. ET) and senior (11:30-2 p.m. ET) women’s podium training from the P&G Gymnastics Championships on Wednesday, Aug. 20. Men’s podium training will also stream live with junior training scheduled for 2:30-5 p.m. ET and seniors from 5-7:30 p.m. ET. The stream will be available onPGChamps.com/live.
  • Live competition coverage.
    • Television. NBC will air the second day of both men’s and women’s senior competition sessions live. In addition, NBC Sports Network will televise the first two days tape delayed. The schedule is listed below.
      • Aug. 22 – Women – 7 p.m. ET – NBC Sports Network
      • Aug. 22 – Men – 11:30 p.m. ET – NBC Sports Network
      • Aug. 23 – Women – 8 p.m. ET – NBC, live
      • Aug. 24 – Men – 2:30 p.m. ET – NBC, live
    • Webcast. With analysts 2008 Olympic medalists Samantha Peszek and Raj Bhavsar, USA Gymnastics will provide live webcast coverage of all four junior competitive sessions, as well as the first night of both the senior women and men’s competition. Former NCAA and Big Ten champion Evan Heiter will join Peszek and Bhavsar as the host. The webcasts will be available worldwide free of charge on PGChamps.com.

      • Aug. 21 – Sr. Women – 7:45 pm ET
      • Aug. 22 – Jr. Men – 1 p.m. ET
      • Aug. 22 – Sr. Men – 7:15 pm ET

      • Aug. 24 – Jr. Men – 7:30 p.m. ET
  • USA Gymnastics on YouTube. USA Gymnastics will post coverage of the P&G Championships, including nearly every competition routine, after the conclusion of the event, interviews from media day and post-competition, and clips from podium training.
