Dear Parents,

With summer fast approaching, ENA is creating a plan to return to gymnastics training.  The implementation of all Local, State and Federal guidelines and the health and safety of our students and staff is our main priority.

ENA Covid-19 procedures

ENA will follow all CDC and NJ Health Department guidelines with respect to the Covid-19 virus.

ENA has and will continue to train our staff on the basic principles of emergency first aid, blood borne pathogens, infection control, hand washing practices, personal protective equipment (PPE) and COVID-19 signs and symptoms.

Entry into the facility

Persons that have a fever of 100.4° or above or show other signs of COVID-19 illness will not be admitted to the facility. Through this notification, ENA is encouraging parents to be on the alert for signs of illness in their children and to keep them home when they are sick.  Any staff member who has been in contact with a person testing positive for COVID-19 will be asked to self quarantine for 14 day, ENA asks parents do the same.

At the designated entry point, gymnastics and staff will be screened for fever or signs of COVID-19 illness prior being permitted to enter the facility. Symptoms related to COVID-19 include:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat

Gymnast may enter the facility 5 minutes before their start time.  Please come dressed and ready for activity. Locker/changing rooms will be for restrooms purposes only.

Gymnasts will be required to sanitize and or wash their hands when entering the facility.

Gymnasts will put their belongings into a plastics or fabric bag brought with them and placed in the designated area of the facility.  There will not be locker access.

Gymnasts will be entering from the main office door and exiting from the glass doors by the floor exercise area.  Times will be staggered to reduce interaction between students

Parents will have limited access to the facility, one parent will be allowed to attend all sessions. We encourage parents to remain in their car at drop off their gymnast.

Gymnasts should be picked up at the sign marked child pick up.  We encourage for all parents to stay in their car when picking up their gymnast.

Tents set up to keep the gymnasts at pick up point out of the sun and possible rain while waiting for their parent to pick them up.

We will provide a private viewing stream to the parents to watch their gymnast at training.  This link will last only for the period your gymnast is at ENA and will only be sent to those families who are currently enrolled in that days programming.  The link will be emailed to all parents during the specified timeframe.

Face Covering

Staff will wear a cloth face covering, when social distancing cannot be maintained.

Gymnasts will not be required, to wear masks, when performing gymnastics movements.  Gymnasts will be required to wear face covering when not actively engaged in gymnastics.  Gymnasts will sanitize and or wash their hands often while at ENA.

Break Time

Children will be required to social distance while having break.  ENA will set up break areas outside weather permitting.

Group Setup

Each groups of children will remain together and have the same coach and will remain socially distant from other groups.

Cleaning and Disinfecting

  • Air Conditioning will be used with a fresh air intake.
  • High traffic touch areas will be sanitized on a regular basis
  • Equipment will be sanitized before and after a group rotates to the equipment
  • Deep Cleaning and use of fogging will be done multiple times per day
  • We use an EPA registered product that is listed on the CDC website as being effective in killing the Covid-19 virus EPA Reg number 47371-131
  • On cool days we will use fans to bring in more fresh air.

Registration

All gymnasts must be preregistered.  Drop in space will be very limited.  We need contact information to be on file for all gymnasts in attendance.

What will ENA do if an exposure to a positive case of a gymnast is revealed.

  • Full disinfection of the facility.
  • Notification of other gymnasts within the group as well as all staff that were interacting with the infected gymnast.
  • Encourage exposed individuals to get a Covid-19 test.

Actions to take in response to individuals exhibiting signs and symptoms of COVID19 (e.g. fever, cough, shortness of breath) while on-site

  • Immediately separate the ill person from the well people until the ill person can leave the camp. The caregiver attending the ill camper and the camper should wear a face covering; try to maintain social distancing within the care area.
  • Staff members should be sent home and advised to follow, What to Do If You Are Sick from the CDC website. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/steps-when-sick.html
